Is my lower jaw reccesed?

I have been mouthbreathing and was wondering if my jaw is reccesed. Im 16, can mewing reverse this, any tips Will help

Very typical recession. The maxilla has swung back and down over time and the lower jaw has followed it.

Mouthbreathing exacerbates this problem unfortunately

Yes. Your mandible has been pushed behind the maxilla and the gonial angle looks high. To improve this, expand your palette and mew to move your maxilla forwards to allow your mandible to come forward

Your lower looks recessed.  What are your teeth like together?  According to your nasolabial angle..your maxilla looks well placed.

Before I had a crocked bite but I got braces that fixed it.

Yes, it is.

My side profile looked similar to yours when I started, with 2 exceptions:

  • My chin recession was very minimal, almost un-noticeable
  • less overall maxilla recession
