Skin changes from mewing

I just became successful at nasal breathing and keeping my mouth closed 90% of the time (sometimes even at night) for about 2 weeks. Sometimes I actively push my palate in desired directions and have suffered few headaches and face aches in result. I don't mind.

After short time I could see changes in my teeth and face, but mostly in my skin.

Keeping mouth closed in a "suction" fashion makes my lips more.symmetrical and pouty but it also sucks up my chin (not under where double chins tend to be, but on the face below the mouth). In effect my chin becomes bumpy and wrinkly. Little acne scars, pores, etc all seem to be pulled by various muscles creating a rather disappointing effect skin wise, kind of like lunar surface. I find my chin smoother when I hang my mouth down but won't go back to that again.

Another change is the cheek area - nicely plumped by tongue posture indeed but having similar issue - skin has been lifted and now on a minimal level it folds, there are some wrinkles under my eyes showing up from pushing my cheeks up. Some strange acne showed up on top of my cheeks where they are now most protrusive as if there is too much skin in one place.

Question to you, accomplished chewers and engineers of the skull, did you experience this?

Are there ways to keep the skin smooth during the process and not suffer side effects? Did it go away or did you use techniques like massage or face yoga?

It wish to improve my skull and my skin.

Correcting my teeth to avoid pain and paying. Correcting my breathing to improve everything else. Correcting my facial asymmetry because now I think it's possible.

I diagnose you with succskin. Treatments include exfoliation, skin-care products, healthy diet, facial yoga and facial massages.

Yea, I'm experiencing the same thing. But can anyone explain what will happen after this, or is this a phase of mewing and is this normal for people who have converted to mewing?

I'm willing to bet it has to do with something else and you're attributing it to mewing because you're so focused on it.

Possibly engaging the mentalis muscle to close your mouth, maybe during swallowing as well, which Mew has said is incorrect form and he suspects it leads to the turned over lower lip appearance. Possible straining in the eye area, causing wrinkles. There are skin care interventions but it sounds like you may need the assistance of a myofunctional therapist to help get to the root of the problem.

Remember this pain... and let it activate you.

But my face is completely still when I swallow. Is there anything else that can be causing this?

Hi everyone, I'm new here, I need some help. After I bought a cat on my skin appeared some stains. Do you believe it is because of the cat?! I have never had a pet in the house but I played with them and everything was fine. To be honest I saw that my cat is having some skin tags. I started to look for some information about his and found a blog about pets' skin tags and prohibited actions. I learned what I don't have to do with them but what about my stains. Do you think this can be related?!
