25-26 y.o.

11 months into

9 months apart pics

Hi,

I analized my face quite a lot before starting mewing ,in particolar always using the same light coming from the window in the ceiling.

I noticed that the shadowing on my ramus make it appear a lot longer than before. However seems like It can't be appreciated the same way taking pictures.

Established that my ramus has always been long, but hidden, I wonder if It is due to these 2 reasons.

- my mandible came forward untucking itself from the neck and the ears (my head posture Is a lot Better)

- my whole face rotated clockwise (referring to these pics' perspective) pushing the ramus down

Work on your lip seal. That in and of itself will help a lot. It seems you are using your mentalis to keep your mouth closed as opposed to your lips having a suction against the teeth

Yes, I am trying. It's due to the open bite that requires extra effort to be covered with the lips

Does moving your mandible help your lip seal at all?

@eddiemoney

Unfortunately not, however it has been 3-4 months that I am engaging the upper lip a little more to lessen the strain of the lower lip. This causes a longer philtrum.

I pay attention to not jut the  mandible forward, by contrast I try to keep It back. Doing that, only the very back molars slightly make contact (crossbite) forcing me to open the bite a little, adding strain on the lips.

A professionist already told me that basically I have to expand the maxilla ( expecially the front ) and rotate it down in order cover the lower front arch. In addition, I need to shorten the mandible.

I don't know, I didn't liked him very much, neither his face.

Another one told to expand and lift everything up and cut the mandible otherwise when it swings up It will worsen the class 3.

They noticed that I have a very big tongue and THAT I HAVE NO UPPER WISDOM TEETH AT ALL.

I wonder , Since I don't have those wisdoms, wouldn't that mean that my whole maxilla Is completely underdeveloped lacking in both upward but in particolar forward projection?

This could even explain my poor oral posture, tongue thrust on the upper incisives, but mostly my receding gums, that it's the reasons why I discovered orthotropics
