Simply put, as you walk, tuck your chin in and think about your big toes. Think of your back muscles and abdominal muscles as two tensile sections like those of a ship’s mast that hold the body upright in perfect balance. You should start feeling your abs contracting as you walk. I find that it’s also very good to actively encourage these adjustments to become automatic. So think about what it felt like when you weren’t paying attention to these things and try to relax and transition back into that sensation while maintaining the changes (of course you should also maintain good oral posture).
That’s strange, anyone has an idea why the video was removed? Copyright violation?

A lot of the videos that were subject to allegations by the British Orthodontic Society have been removed, probably for related reasons. In this particular instance they seem to have taken issue with Mike Mew admiring the aboriginal slaves’ abs. https://orthotropics.com/british-orthodontic-society-allegations-transcribed-links-2/

This crossed my mind but I don’t think it’s the reason. If you check this video which is the one that started the whole fiasco with BOS (first on their list) it’s still working:

Thank you all for your output!
I was also wondering…. I think that you get the mewing right when you stop feeling cold inside your mouth and you start feeling cold in your throat… meaning that you stop mouth breathing and expand your “throat capacity”. Does anybody ever feel this cold sensation moving from mouth to throat? Is it valid to think in this terms?
Again, thanks for your answers. =)

Mike Mew does sometimes say some cringy things including some of the instances the BOS flagged like this admiration for the physique of what he described as slaves, and his critique of celebrities. The prudence of his abs walk video and his Mark Zuckerberg video came up in this thread ( https://the-great-work.org/community/main-forum/mike-mews-latest-fallout-of-mark-z-and-everyone-else-with-craniofacial-dystrophy/# ). I feel like I also remember being struck by a statement that came off as rather misogynist once, but I can’t remember which video. Because most of us here are receptive to his overall message, we’re willing to overlook the occasional tactless remark. Unfortunately, they gave ammunition for the BOS to question his central thesis. It was probably wise for him to remove a few videos to strengthen the merit of his messaging.
