After mewing for 3 months, I've noticed my cheekbones becoming more prominent, but my gonial angle seems to have remained the same. Does it take time for the angle to decrease and catch up to the forward movement of the maxilla?

If I remember correctly hard chewing is what gives those defined angles in the back of the jaw.

The reason this may happen is because the palate widens first before it moves forward
