How do you mew while sleeping/resting on bed?

Whenever I try to rest myself on a bed (sideways OR on the back of my head), I am UNABLE to keep the back of my tongue on the palate, even when I try all the tricks. However I am able to maintain it up there very easily when my posture is normal.

I have also noticed that I’ve been mouth breathing when sleeping. This is very scary to my progress.

Eventually when you’re used to mewing you can subconsciously do it while in REM sleep, however in deep sleep it’s impossible to mew since all muscles will be relaxed. I wouldn’t worry about it, mewing during sleep won’t improve progress by much.

I suggest you see an orthopedic doctor as soon as possible. My wife had a spinal hernia, and because she didn’t see a doctor in time, he had a hard time treating him. I advise you not to trifle with this, lest there be problems like my wife in the future. I ordered an orthopedic mattress for her here https://careoutlet.co.uk/hospital-bed-mattress . They have a large selection of orthopedic mattresses, and you can choose the right option. Back pain can have many causes, and it can be very serious.

My tongue stays fully on the roof of the mouth the whole time,  while I am awake and while I’m asleep.
It is not because I’m doing mewing or have ever done mewing.
This is because I do holographic breathing. In holographic breathing tongue naturally suckles itself to the roof of the mouth over a period of time. If you practice holographic breathing enough you will automatically start doing it in your sleep and then your tongue will be on the roof of the mouth all of the time.
The reason the tongue stays fully on the roof of the mouth in holographic breathing is because it releases all of its toxins and stress.
In mewing that doesn’t happen, you are just putting the tongue on the roof of the mouth and trying to keep it there so it is more likely to just fall off.

I have free videos on this and a free webinar today all on this link – https://www.holographic-breathing.com/1/index.php/free-webinars-meditations

Holographic breathing also heals craniofacial dystrophy –

Holographic breathing also creates a craniofacial breathing motion where all of the bones of the skull and tongue are opening and closing with the breath.

So in holographic breathing you’re not trying to get the face and cranium into an end position. In holographic breathing, the whole face cranium and tongue breathing and this naturally starts bringing it back to a more natural position. The tongue after a while being fully on the roof of the mouth does the same as mewing but more because it is breathing and moving. The videos to learn holographic breathing are free. If you like mewing my guess is that you’ll love holographic breathing.
