At 17 years of age I have 28 teeth, braces, mew indicator line of 48, 6 teeth smile, 31 intermolar width.

Based on those figures you are in the moderate to severe range.

Is the mew indicator line better to be lower or higher? Mine is around 50mm

 the lower the better. 40 and below being ideal

Higher = longer midface, more gum exposure, the appearance of smaller teeth, and longer philtrum. 

Teeth closer to nose is ideal.

You can correct all of them even if you are older. It just depends on the specifics of your case.

So i saw a thread on the beloved Lookism on this and it said to measure from the top of your front teeth..mine is now around 40mm, which makes more sense.

As you undergo correction in the near future, please consider keeping records for your own sake and for others. Pictures of dental impressions, scans, medical reports reports can be very helpful even with all personally identifying information blocked out.
