Forward facial growth while dropping maxilla

In the photo attached, you will see that the guy has a nice jawline and forward grown face. Yet the face has melted and the gonial angle is high, by looking under his neck, it also looks like he has the tongue on the roof of the mouth and holds a tilted back head posture. Why do some faces grow downwards and forwards and others go down and back?

Perhaps he has a high occlusal plane angle. Also submental area still looks bulky. I think he's just really skinny.

In the next photo, while he is tilting his head back, he has a long mandible and thick lips. Does this guy have good tongue posture?

How did you classify this as forward growth? His Mew indicator line looks very high and he has practically all the makings of a downward grown face. Look at how long the philtrum is even with such lip thickness for example.

What has caused him to have a very long and skinny mandible that isn’t recessed into his neck (so his jawline shows)? Unlike most sufferers of cranial facial dystrophy that have short recessed mandibles

Nah not all cfd cases involve the same face. His low bodyfat makes his jawline more prominent and he is not super recessed .
