A replica of the Myobrace device made by Azdent has two holes on the front of the device. Couldn’t you use small hooks to pull on each side of the retainer for say 30 second increments to achieve expansion? I would think that this would be safe given that you’re not overdoing how much you’re doing this in a day because after all, the upper teeth are connected to the maxilla.
