Has anyone tried chewing and chin tucking at the same time for 30 minutes+ ??
It’s well known that forward head posture can affect the mandible and maxilla: https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/937521/
As someone with pretty severe forward head posture, I was curious on what would happen if I chewed and chin tucked at the same time, and I felt A LOT more comfortable in this position. Not only that but I could feel more stress on my craniofacial bones, not sure the exact mechanism behind this but possibly a change in the biomechanics that directs the forces of mastication away from the neck and into the face?
Let me know what you guys think
