Anyone bought an Acceledent/Propel VPro+/Orthopulse dupe from these sites?
In case you didn't know: these are sonic vibration devices and one near infra-red device that are used primarily to accelerate tooth movement by promoting bone remodeling. There are other benefits, but I won't go into them here, because I am curious if anyone has ordered from one of these sites that seem to be from the same company. I'm wondering if they're legit, if the product arrives, how long it takes to arrive, if it works as described and is repaired/replaced when it's broken within the one year warranty period. I've been emailing with the owners and so far so good, but I want a bit more than that.
PS: they have a Black Friday sale right now if anyone's interested (first link).
I'm brand new to all of this. I'm 55 have a lot of health issues and began to suspect some are caused from braces and heaven forbid - headgear!! I had made an appointment to consult with an ortho about palate expansion and I didn't even know this was a thing! LOL Just made sense to me.
I have a very high, narrow palate, long face, roman nose, and when I go to close my bite I have to pull my chin back so my lower teeth will fit behind my top teeth.
Sorry, for the long intro, but on one of my health sites a member was talking about mewing and mastic gum chewing. He mentioned taking the supplements of boron and k2 (with plenty of fat) to get faster movement. I'm already on the supps, and have mastic gum ordered. Just thought I'd pass it along since you are looking for quick movement. 🙂
@momentum, Thanks for the tip. I've read that about chewing gum and that it causes faster movement. I might buy a Myomunchee* since it's re-usable (mastic gum is expensive!) and doesn't require sideways jaw movement (I have a TMJ issue, constant plopping on one side and probably some related tinnitus). I do take vit.K2 although I'm not sure it causes faster movement. Boron I never heard of in this context.
I bought the Viber 125 HZ, but was disappointed:
-At first I thought I got the wrong device because it said 'Viber20' instead of 'Viber 125 HZ'. Apparently it is Viber 125 HZ, but it doesn't give ease of mind this way.
-There is no light indicating that it is charging or fully charged.
-There is no light indicating whether it's on or off and it's just one button.
-There is no way to know if it's working or defective, because you can't feel the vibrations.
To summarize: there is no way to know if it's working and when it's working. This makes it impossible to use.
Apparently, the more I'm learning from my health forums (and a few Mewers on there), that there are quite a few vitamins/minerals to help.
I did receive Falim gum today (which is reusable). The texture is nice and the taste is doable 😉 Sorry about your TMJ 🙁
