If I get a palate exp for top will the bottom one expand to match it.
Would the bite not be off etc if top one is expanded but lower one notÂ

No you would have to expand both top and bottom with an appliance.Â

@johncoolj  From what I've heard and read, the bottom automatically expands as the top palate expands. So only a top palate expander is needed.
Hey from my experience working with dr Mike Mew himself and my own journey If your can keep your lower teeth touching / biting together your lower mandibular expands (Outer U) i think the key part is your back molars need to touch and have contact on both sides otherwise one may develop and expand on one side more than the other which is what is happening with my jaw right now.
