Pulling the Maxilla "forward" versus getting Maxilla to rotate "CCW" .

I am getting MSE installed on Aug 18th.

We will be attempting MSE+FM.

I am 24(m).

My ortho told me that FM will try and pull my maxilla forward, and she is excited to try it on me.

My question though is: are we trying to literally pull the maxilla forward or aren't we trying to get that CCW of the maxilla upward?

Are these the same?

There is a video of a myofunctional therapist stressing that there is a difference between moving "forward" and moving "CCW". Atleast when it comes to MMA surgery.

I imagine I want a CCW not just pull the maxilla forward?

Hey mate, how's your progress so far? I'm thinking of going to the same Ortho to get an MSE.
