I find it that whenever I try to Mew I can’t breath. Is MSE enough to be able to Mew and breath at the same time?

You’ll have more transverse space for your tongue, but MSE alone won’t give significant forward displacement. So engaging the posterior third might still obstruct your airway. I find it easier to breathe while practicing good tongue posture and head posture since my MSE treatment. I also used reverse-pull headgear, but I doubt it did much.

So there is an improvement at least. Besides Double-Jaw Surgery, what are the best options for forward growth of the Maxilla? I follow Ronald Ead and to my understanding Agga/Fagga wasn’t the best option.

I wish I knew! I’m skeletal class iii. I think I’ve gotten a little improvement, with my A point now about even with my B point after MSE+FM, depending where I position my mandible during imaging.

Thats awesome man. So I imagine its a lot better than before?

Having had MSE done, would you recommend MSE+FM for someone looking to get the most expansion for the tongue to rest in the palate? I have heard of EASE that past feew days as another option to MSE. Besides the price, in your opinion what are the biggest pros and cons of MSE as compared to EASE?

Thank you brudda

Any forward change I got is very subtle. MSE+FM definitely helped my tongue space and has improved but not fixed my airway/sleep quality problems. The EASE surgical cuts would be a good way to ensure separation of the suture, better than DOME in my opinion, and maybe there’s less risk of asymmetrical expansion. If the MSE is successful with just cortipuncture, it’s much less invasive and less expensive. EASE is only offered by one doctor and it doesn’t have anchorage for reverse-pull headgear.
